Playing games on a large screen aint always a great idea

Recently I've moved to a larger desktop screen in my home setup. 27inch only so by no means massive but because I'm sitting relatively close to it as it is a high resolution screen it does mean that it takes up a much larger area of my normal desktop field of view.  Ever since moving to the larger screen, when playing games with lots of first person motion type games, I've found it can quickly induce motion sickness. This is something new to me in terms of gaming. I have experienced it with VR headsets but never with a desktop setup.  The game that I've found to be most problematic is Warhammer Space Marine as it's primarily a console port with a very narrow field of view. It's really intended to be viewed from further back, not typical for PC games. There are also no options to tweak the FOV in this game so I can only play for 10-20 minutes before I start to feel sick.  Having read up a bit on this, it seems clear that it is because the majority of my field of
